About me
A lawyer who sees the person behind the case.
The purpose of legal practice is not to litigate at all costs. Sometimes a balanced agreement is the best result. When court proceedings are unavoidable, however, I defend my client’s rights firmly and with full commitment.
I handle every matter personally. Clients always know who is working on their case, what the next step is and which risks need to be considered. More than twenty years of experience allow me to combine careful legal analysis with a practical view of the desired result.

Fees
Clear and predictable.
Legal fees are agreed individually according to the nature of the matter and the client’s circumstances. An hourly rate is most common, while fixed or ongoing arrangements are available where appropriate.
Standard hourly rate
CZK 1,900/ commenced hour
Court hearings: CZK 2,500 per commenced hour. I am not registered for VAT.Fixed fee
For a specific task or a complete matter whose scope can be assessed in advance.
Retainer
For long-term cooperation and clients with ongoing legal requirements.
Success fee
Usually 10–20% of the amount recovered, often combined with a reduced hourly rate.
Initial consultation
A one-off fee of CZK 1,000 regardless of the length of the introductory meeting.
Detailed information on fees and attorney escrow
Attorney escrow
Escrow protects financial transactions and is most often used for real estate transfers. A separate account is opened with Česká spořitelna, a.s. for every escrow. Funds remain segregated and are released only when the contractual conditions are met.
The fee is agreed individually and is at least CZK 5,000. It covers the escrow agreement, account administration, possible custody of documents and related costs. It does not include accompanying transaction documents. Interest on escrowed funds belongs to the attorney.
Additional costs and invoicing
Travel outside Hradec Králové is charged together with compensation for time lost at CZK 450 per commenced half-hour. Expert reports, translations and court fees are paid directly by the client.
Invoices are generally issued monthly or after the relevant task, with 15-day payment terms. Unless agreed otherwise, the Czech Attorney’s Tariff (Decree No. 177/1996 Coll.) applies.
